I remember upgrading thousands of Macs from OS 9 to OS X while still trying to run a graphics department would t have been possible without dpi by our side .
There weren’t enough drinks to celebrate afterwards so we all went into learning about Active Directory with a severe hangover …
But we made it !
Been easy ever since !
Thank you dpi !!!!
When is the next dpi St. Louis party ???

DPI and Apple ! What a partnership.

I had to dig deep into my journal which goes back longer than I care to say publicly! Over the years there were many shared customer events, team training sessions, trade shows and meetings – all with the same goal in mind – bettering the technology customer experience. I recall yearly DPI events, starting for me in 2006, where we engaged customers and prospects on the importance of deploying Apple technology with DPI proven methodologies. Customers were always excited to attend these events, and the DPI Team always filled the partner roster with proven solutions to help deploy Apple in the enterprise. When Xsan was released in 2005, we immediately saw the use for some of DPI’s largest customers. And of course we can’t forget Media Beacon engagements, to show customers how a Digital Asset Management system could help organize creative workflows. In true partnership for, DPI even hosted events onsite at MacWorld for their customers. DPI continues to save customers @sses today and they live their motto – the customer is never just a transaction. They are a partner. And to me, the team at DPI are friends. Gotta love working with your friends…

I have had the pleasure not only to be a customer of DPI for many years, but also a vendor to them. Specifically, a newbie print salesperson. As you might imagine, Matina thinks big when it comes to marketing and promotion, with a balanced eye for elegance and design. We were chosen for a Christmas promotion one year. The product went together well and presented as a nicely shrink-wrapped, beautiful night scene. Long story short, I screwed up specifying the shipping label placement and completely obscured the scene when the product shipped. Upset as she must have been, I hardly knew it. We discussed the problem and moved on without recrimination.

This is not the norm in printing!

Matina is pure class on both sides of the ball, and a pleasure to deal with, ESPECIALLY when there is trouble.

I submit this anecdote, however, with only a passing reference to the time we set back the clocks in the shop by 15 minutes so that she could be on time for a meeting for once… Ha!
