dpi Unveils New Mobile Device Management Possibilities at Apple ProSeries Event

On March 31st, IT leaders from around America met at The Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis, MO to hear from key speakers from Apple, JAMF Software, MobileIron and dpi. The Apple ProSeries event is an annual favorite that highlights emerging trends in technology and best practices for everyday practical scenarios. Sessions included information on integrating Macs in enterprise environments, end-to-end client management, collaboration and integration with Microsoft Office 11 for Mac, apps in the enterprise, and how to develop iOS apps.

One focus of the event was managing mobile devices within the corporate environment. Dean Curtis gave an overview of the Enterprise-standard security features in Apple’s iOS 4.3. Speakers from JAMF Software, Blaine Mattson and Jonah Klevesahl, showcased how CasperSuite manages iOS device provisioning, updating, maintaining and reporting. The day closed with a bang as Jesse Lindeman from MobileIron showcased best practices and security provisioning for mobile devices across platforms through MobileIron and discussed why this has quickly become a corporate standard.
