To ensure the continued success of our partnership, we’d like to review our processes and make sure you know who to call for new products, how to pay, and the best way to take advantage of the services offered by dpi.
Sales
dpi strives to provide our clients the best in class Apple enterprise hardware, software and services. In order to guarantee correct order placement, we request clients sign our quotes prior to officially placing their orders. dpi works closely with vendors and distributors to provide competitive pricing for our clients. To maintain the integrity of a business partnership with digital partners, clients are asked to refrain from sharing quotes and pricing information with outside parties.
Service and Support
dpi’s systems engineers and service technicians are able to handle client service issues via on-site visits, phone support and remote monitoring. The type of support is determined by the client and is billed accordingly.
dpi offers a number of service and support packages to meet the needs of our customers. We encourage clients to set up a service contract or remote service agreement in advance of needing support to ensure the fastest possible turnaround. If a service contract or remote service agreement has not been set up, service will be billed hourly with a one-hour minimum. On-site service will be subject to a trip charge. Billing terms for service will be communicated by a signed service order before any work is performed.

Accounting
Accounting with dpi is simple. Our invoices include a full description of the product or service, including any applicable serial and registration numbers. We accept payments by check, credit card and/or leasing. Invoice terms are decided on a per customer basis and will be relayed to the client before any orders are placed.
For customers that have not previously done business with dpi, detailed credit information may be required prior to completing the first order. If you are currently set up on credit terms with dpi, this may be a good time to refresh your billing information.
Data Backup
dpi encourages clients to have a regular and routine data backup plan in place. Should you need help designing and implementing a plan, we would be happy to assist you. We strongly recommend that data be backed up prior to any service and are not responsible for any consequences due to loss of data during service.
Software Licensing
dpi System Engineers will not install unlicensed software onto any computer. Your license agreement may be for an individual machine or may cover multiple machines. We will gladly install software with the understanding that you are solely responsible for maintaining and following all licensing agreements. We can also help you understand Apple’s new VPP program.
Engaging Service Professionals
In order to offer the highest level of technical consulting and service, dpi spends significant time and money training best in class system engineers. To continue to provide a high level of professional service, we ask that our clients resist the temptation to hire our system engineers. If a customer cannot do so and chooses to hire a system engineer, they agree to pay dpi two years’ value of the employee’s annual salary. This is simply to cover the costs of training and recruitment.
