Thought the iPad was just for reading books and seeing pretty pictures? Not so, says Matina Koester, president of Digital Partners Incorporated, Joe Besser and the dpi team impressed CIOs and area IT managers with the iPad’s vast business capabilities during an Executive Technical Briefing at the Center for the Application of Information Technology (CAIT) at Washington University in St. Louis on Friday, April 16.
The only Apple-authorized iPad dealer for enterprises in the St. Louis region, Koester and System Engineer Besser discussed the iPad’s compatibility, its’ easy network deployment, and top security, among many topics during the event. The invitation-only briefing at the Charles F. Knight Center, on the Washington University campus, attracted several dozen area IT executives who showed a high level of interest in the new mobile device that was recently launched by Apple. J.W. Powers, recent MBA Washington University Olin School of Business Grad was also on hand to discuss business Apps, such as SAP, and Citrix clients.
